Our Story

David and Jeff met in their classes freshman year at Syracuse University.  While often navigating different social circles, their friendship has persisted in large part due to their enjoyment of working together and unique (for them at least) ability to get along well.

As they both pursued careers in Finance, they continued to look for ways to work together, until life got lifey and they drifted.

About 15 years later, they reconnected over lunch. Jeff spent a large block of that time  living  in London, and David.. Well,  David had his whole journey of his own…

The David that showed up to lunch that day was brighter, cheerier and fresher than the one Jeff remembered.  Still the same David, but with a renewed vigor, a ‘twinkle’ if you will.  He told of his time as a consultant, eating fast food in airports, moving cities every year or two.  Living for work, and the resulting isolation and depression. And the declining health that followed.  He explained to  Jeff that one day in 2020 he had enough, a change was needed, and new habits, good habits, had to be started from scratch.  Thus began a wellness journey, reshaping the way he viewed nutrition, fitness, and ultimately, himself.

Inspired by his story, and happy for his friend, Jeff suggested  “Let’s do something about this!”  And thus began the weekly workshops, where the two coalesced around the bad faith in industry practices and product offerings, and the inequities between manufacturers and the other stakeholders in the food system.

Thus born was Gud for All, a health and wellness project with the mission to simplify and reduce the efforts required to make healthy choices by dispelling bad information, highlighting long standing practices that harm and confuse, and driving real change through the creation of products that exemplify the values of self care, good faith, transparency, and social responsibility.

We look forward to embarking on this great adventure with you.
